- Fresh strawberries. Cut off tops and slice each berry in half.
- Prepared Angel food cake, cut into cut (kabob) size
- Melt-able chocolate. The kind you can melt in microwave.
- Plastic bag for squeezing out the melted chocolate onto the skewered food
Rinse and cut strawberries. Set aside. Thoroughly dry.
Cut sponge cake into cubes. Snip wooden skewers in half. Slide a berry half, then a cake cube and another berry half onto the each skewer. Place the skewers on a cookie sheet.
Melt chocolate in microwave according to package direction. Put the melted chocolate into a plastic zip lock bag. Snip the corner of the bag and drizzle the chocolate over the skewered food.
Wrap well in plastic wrap until ready to serve.
