This is one of the easiest ways to cook a meal. The steam does the cooking and you end up with food that is flavorful and moist. You will want to use a heavy duty foil when making a foil packet.
Start with a sheet of foil that will comfortably fit your dish. Place the foil on a baking dish and srpay with non-stick cooking oil. Position the food in the center of the foil sheet. Spray the top of your food dish with non-stick cooking oil before applying the top sheet of foil.
Next, place another sheet of foil over the top of the food. Fold all the edges of the foil to form a packet. You will want a good seal so that no steam escapes during the cooking process.
That’s it! Simple, simple, simple. When the food is done, remove from oven and CAREFULLY open the foil packet. It will be hot and you don’t want the steam to burn your hands. Might be a good idea to wear oven mitts when opening the foil packet.
