Post Dinner Treats

Blimpy Girl Desserts

Nothing like a little after dinner delight.

Dessert┬átypically comes at the end of a meal and usually consist of sweet foods. The word dessert comes from the French language desservir which means “to clear the table” and “to serve.”

I’m not a big dessert person, so if I’m going to indulge it has to be a recipe that I like. One that catches my eye and screams “TRY ME!”. Since I do plenty of entertaining, I have to step back and realize that my tastes are not the same as others. Knowing this, I try to incorporate desserts that might not be my most Blimpy Girl favorites. It’s all about variety and sampling new foods. You never know what you will like or┬ánot like until you taste.

Step outside your comfort zone and taste until you discover those foods that strike your fancy.
